I’m Chelsea. I grew up on the Florida Panhandle, but now live in the San Juan Islands of Washington with my boyfriend Ty.

I fly airplanes over wildfires for a living and own and operate a sweet little 1940’s Cessna 140. I’m interested in photography, sailboats, airplanes, maritime history, and literally anything that has to do with animals.

Lately, most of my attention has gone to the Golden Age of Piracy, enough that I’m considering going to school to study Maritime History properly.

This site is a place for the things I find along the way: history, photographs, field notes, travel, airplanes, boats, and whatever else seems worth writing down. A bit of a journal and scrapbook with the intent to inspire and document whatever I find out on this pirate journey.
